Cardiology is the study of the epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases that affect the heart and the cardiovascular system.    It encompasses congenital heart defects, cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and anomalies, arrhythmias, and systemic diseases that affect the cardiovascular system.   This library offers health professionals exposure to cutting edge research in cardiovascular disease, curated by internationally-renowned leaders in the field.
