Alessandro Vespignani

A physicist and epidemiologist, his work on contagion processes using predictive computational tools was fundamental in analyzing the spread of the Coronavirus disease in 2019, and also for the dissemination of information through social networks. Born into a family of renowned Italian artists, he has crossed the boundaries between countries, art and science.
