Throughout her career, she sought to include women in her clinical studies and to analyze data from a gender perspective.
During the Codiv-19 pandemic, for example, she drew attention to the fact that more masculine than feminine samples were used in Covid-19 drugs and vaccines. In fact, insufficient attention was paid to gender in research on the biological differences between masculine and feminine patients.
